rain day

September 11, 2009

Driving down I-95, we stopped at exit 25 to check out a skatepark in Bridgeport, CT.  It turns out that the park is on the doorstep of Rampage, a company that designs and fabricates skatepark equipment!  It was too rainy to skate, but Lugo gave us a tour of the shop, and then sent us down the street to Jeff at Day One Skateshop for directions to an indoor skatepark.  Jeff is a walking encyclopedia of the Connecticut skating scene, and clearly laid out our options.  None of them fit into our schedule, so we continued to our next kind host (thanks John and family!), but it was exciting to see where skate ramps are born!

Thanks for stopping in and best of luck on your travels. I will send your site out to some skateboard sites that I think will definitely spread the word and give you some support. All the best, Day One.
