outrigger canoe

Later on Sunday, we were invited to try paddling in a Hawaiian outrigger canoe. Logan and I rode in seperate two-man canoes, each with our own experienced partner. The light crafts skim over the heaving waves with ease, steered by a foot controlled rudder. Along the cliffs at the edge of the sea, we paddled past huge cave mouths – lava tubes that once formed the coast.
