If you have ever flown in an airplane, chances are it was born outside of Seattle in a Boeing factory.  We toured the assembly line and learned about how the planes are made and about the new composite materials used in the 787.  Standing in the world’s largest building (by volume) and looking down on four of these jets in various stages of assembly makes quite an impression.  Afterwards, visitors are invited to whip up their own designs in the exhibition hall.
